30 Day Challenges
After having my son, I realized I needed to make changes in my life. I wanted to be healthier, a better wife, a better mom, and a better person. It seemed like an overwhelming task to take on. After all, being a full time mom, working, and doing all the other things that happen in life, I wasn’t sure I could ever change anything.
I remembered in when I was in high school, the movie Supersize Me came out. Every day for 30 days, a guy would eat at McDonalds. The change that happened in that 30 Days was intense. After his movie was a hit, he landed a show on a network channel. The show was about how doing something for 30 days can change your life.
I realized 30 days is a relatively short amount of time. By doing something for thirty days, it not only makes changes, but it creates a habit that can be sustained. I decided this year to take on a new challenge each month. I invite you to do the challenges with me. I don’t want to just share my results, I want to hear about yours as well.
I found that having the support of others (even if it’s just through social media) makes it easier to keep at the commitment. Here is a list of the 30 Day Challenges for 2018:
